trevor's baseball game
i went to 5 year old trevor's baseball (well, i guess it's technically tee ball) game tonight (milisa's son). i fit that in between the end of a normal work day and the beginning of an evening retreat. crazy. i was only there for about 15 minutes, and got lots of fun pictures. i definitely want to go back to another game and get some more pictures. those kids are just priceless!

days off!
we were supposed to have a family camp retreat this weekend, but no one signed up. that's a little odd, since this retreat last year was a big hit and we had a lot of people out here. maybe because it was mother's day weekend? but what mother wouldn't want to hang out at camp and have every meal cooked for her? sounds good to me! either way, i got the weekend off, which was a great relief, because the weeks are so busy around here that i didn't know when i was going to get some time away from the office.
chris and i went on a hike (well, a drive and then a hike) at hamilton pool preserve on saturday. it was pretty cool - check out the pictures below. then we went shopping in austin and i got some fun stuff for rachel's bachelorette party :) i might post some pictures of the shirts...but you might just have to wait! then on sunday (my second day off in a row! wow!) i went back to austin and shopped some more! i bought a new computer, some clothes, and a whole bunch of stuff. i went to all my favorite places in austin...whole foods, rei, and other fun places too. i bought a new curtain for my kitchen too (see picture below). this weekend was pretty much my last time to do anything that i personally need to do before summer starts. this week matt and i will be working our butts off getting ready for the summer, then i leave next tuesday for rachel's wedding, then i get back and the staff arrive. holy cow. where did the retreat season go?!?!?!
ok, here are the pictures.

updates
i bought some furniture! check it out:
here's my lovely sweet basil growing growing growing! i started that from seeds :)
here's my $1 pot from target! looks like a success to me. these are going to be sunflowers. the sweet red peppers didn't make it, but i plan on trying again with the left over seeds.
welp, that's all. i'm working this weekend with a group of about 50 women staying onsite. they are pretty high maintenance usually, but they are behaving so far. keep your fingers crossed!
